The System-On-Chip Lab at the University of Washington is located in the east wing of the Electrical Engineering building in room 461. The lab is supervised by Professor David Allstot, who is the Boeing-Egdvedt Chair Professor of the EE department. Current Lab members consist of 10 PhD and 3 Masters students. Research being conducted in the lab includes design of RF and wireless circuits, data converters, and mixed-signal circuits.  

 

Mission

The mission of this lab is to develop novel analog/RF integrated circuits for future generation wireless/computing applications.

Prof. David Allstot will serve as President-elect of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society in 2008, then as its President in 2009.

Sudip Shekhar has received the 2007-2008 IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) Predoctoral Fellowship.

Jeffrey Walling has received the 2007-2008 Intel Foundation PhD Fellowship.

Prof. David Allstot and Mani Soma are the General Co-chairs for ISCAS 2008, to be held at Seattle, WA.

Nathan Neihart and Sudip Shekhar receive the 2007 Analog Devices Outstanding Student Designer Award.

The Electrical Engineering Department with the help of SOC lab will host the UWEE Alumni and Friends Reception at 2007 ISSCC on Tuesday 2/13/07.

Jeyanandh Paramesh has been appointed as an Assistant Professor of ECE at Carnegie Mellon University!

Cameron Charles has been appointed as an Assistant Professor of ECE at University of Utah!
